Locate Grave
LocateGraves' Grave & Cemetery Information allows you to search for gravesite locations for family members and friends that have passed. The dataset contains almost seven million entries. A majority of the data is from U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, which tracks graves marked with a government grave marker. Information on veterans buried in private cemeteries prior to 1997 is not available.
National Union Catalog of Manuscript Collections
This site provides and promotes bibliographic access to the nation's documentary heritage by cataloging and describing archival and manuscript collections held by eligible repositories located throughout the United States and its territories.
Native Bound Unbound
Native Bound Unbound is an important and useful website for genealogists, especially those researching Indigenous ancestry or trying to understand Native American experiences within family history. The project focuses on documenting the history of the enslavement of native peoples (a story not well understood by many Americans) and bringing attention to individuals and families whose stories have often been overlooked or erased in traditional records.
New Jersey Archives Databases
The searchable databases provide access to over 2,350,000 database entries, indexing over 1,500,000 documents and photographs housed at the New Jersey State Archives. Database development is currently focused on 1848-1878 death records, early land records, and the records of the Supreme Court. Archives staff add and edit database entries daily.
New York City Directories
New York City directories record the names and addresses of city residents, businesses, churches, schools, police stations, courts, and other government offices, as well as the names of individuals associated with those institutions. They also feature images, including maps, illustrations of buildings, and advertisements. NYPL's City Directory collection ranges from 1786 through 1934, with print and microfilm holdings belonging to the Rare Books and Milstein divisions. Subsequent telephone directories belonging to the Milstein division have also been added to this collection.

Periodical Source Index (PERSI) contains thousands of articles from newsletters and periodicals all over the country.
Reclaim the Records
We’re Reclaim The Records, a new not-for-profit activist group of genealogists, historians, researchers, and open government advocates. We identify important genealogical records sets that ought to be in the public domain but which are being wrongly restricted by government archives, libraries, and agencies. We file Freedom of Information and Open Data requests to get that public data released back to the public. And if the government doesn’t comply, we take them to court. Then we digitize everything we win and put it all online for free, without any paywalls or usage restrictions, so that it can never be locked up again.
Robertson Register
This REGISTER (established in 1998), contains a database of identified persons in vintage photographs found in repositories and private collections located in the United States. The time period is limited to those images made before and during the 1800s with the inclusion of the photos made in the early 1900s of those persons who were considered to be ancient at that time
