The Second Annual Spirit of Service Awards will be held at the Monroe County Museum on Thursday, April 18th at 7 pm. The event begins with a reception in Sieb Hall featuring light refreshments and live music.
Following the reception, the event moves up to the second floor for the presentation of awards. Jane is this year's recipient of the Illumination Award in recognition of the work that she has done at Woodland Cemetery. The Illumination Award is the museum's lifetime achievement award and the highest honor that the Monroe County Historical Commission awards each year. Jane will be the second person to receive the award.
This event is free and open to the public and all are welcomed to attend. (The members of GSMC are especially encouraged to attend!)
