Windsor College professor and author Guillaume Teasdale will be our speaker. He has written several books, most recently "Fruits of Perseverance" about the French and Detroit. He has studied the migration patterns of the French Canadians and the River Raisin Settlement. Copies of his book will be available for purchase.
Unfortunately Mr. Teasdale had to cancel on us at the last minute. Our speaker will be Terrence O’Leary and the subject will be the Potato Famine and the coming of the Irish to America.
The public is welcome to attend and refreshments will be served.
