Raisinville Twp has given GSMC permission to walk King Cemetery, transcribe the cemetery's tombstones, and put flags on the graves of veterans. We have identified almost 30 veterans in King Cemetery and plan to update the cemetery listings with the names of all who are buried in the cemetery.
If you would like to help with King Cemetery (or one of the other cemeteries in Raisinville Twp), contact Mike Van Wasshnova. We plan to tackle Doty, McIntyre, and Rath Cemeteries this spring and summer.
We could use help completing information on those buried... so even if you can't walk the cemeteries, perhaps you can help by checking obituaries or vital records to provide complete birth and death dates of those buried in these cemeteries.
