Head in early and stop by Woodland Cemetery at 11:00am for the dedication of Sylvanus Curtis' gravestone.  Sylvanus was one of Monroe County's almost 2500 Civil War soldiers.  His grave has gone unmarked since the 1890's. Thanks to a descendant, both Sylvanus and his wife now have markers on their graves.
