Ken Shepherd will share his research on the Kentucky soldiers who fought in the Battle of River Raisin. He will discuss the relationship between the Kentucky militia and the French town battles and explain why so many Kentuckians were willing and eager to make the big trip up to Michigan territory in the dead of winter.
