Edmund La Clair – MCCC history professor, will give a talk on the movement of folks to Monroe from Tazwell. He said that he usually tries to get anyone who has a connection to KY/TN or Tazwell area specifically to share any stories or information they have. In many ways, we would help him out if he could be connected with folks to do a few oral history interviews with. He has presented this at the Old Mill and also at Monroe’s Labor History museum, and is hoping to eventually collect enough information to publish in the Michigan Historical Review.
