Diane V. Gagel, M. A., has a Masters in American Studies and is a professional genealogist and free lance author. She is past president of the Ohio Genealogical Society and a retired College Instructor. Diane is the author of five books: Ohio Photographers, 1839-1900, 2nd ed, Windows on the Past: Identifying, Dating, and Preserving Photographs, Directory of Photographers in the United States 1888/1889 and Canada 1889, and co-author of The Lauber Family: A Journey of Faith; NGS State Guide for Ohio, and The Beginner's Guide to Ohio Genealogical Research.
Diane will share her knowledge to help us make the most of our research time on the following subjects:

- Sweet Land of Liberty: Finding, Reading and Using Land Records
- Hidden or Rarely Used Genealogical Sources
- Reading Between the Lines: Expanding a Military Record
